Gonaives, Haiti is located in a remote part of northwestern Haiti where there is almost no work available. One of the few opportunities for underserved women to support themselves and their children is by creating small cottage-style businesses with the help of Women of Milot and The Haven Partnership. This "One-of-a-kind" Pot Holder was made by Jesula A., a young mother, wife and apprentice learning to sew under more experienced co-op leaders. Practice work is always 'an original' and have become very popular for that reason. Each is made from scrap fabrics chosen by the apprentice.

Each is double lined with cotton batting and insulated lining. Outer layers are made from 100% imported cotton fabric.

Machine wash, dry flat. All merchandise is wrapped in tissue with a "Women of Milot' Sticker.
